Always tough making these kinds of lists. I would implore you to view Past Lives again. This was my favorite film of 2023. A primer in character empathy. Not much happens from an action stand point but I was riveted and choked up both times I viewed the film. This film touches on spirituality but emphasizes what it means to be human.
