What you've manifested for yourself sounds interesting as a way to pay the bills, but it sounds horrifying as a way to cultivate creativity. You've evaded the technical definition of plagiarism, but you are plagiarizing the ideas of others. I can't imagine this process is enjoyable from a creative standpoint. Aren't you concerned this will impact your original writing in a negative way?
