In my experience, PAs are not usually film school grads. Nor have I met anyone who had to audition in the nude for a movie gig. And my father did not want me to be a doctor or lawyer. (No offense intended, but this sounds like some sort of stereotypical trope about Jews.) I was fortunate to have a relative in the film industry. Nepotism can help you get your foot in the door but the rest is up to you. I worked in movies for a decade then voluntarily walked away. It's a tough industry to make a living.
