This is a poorly cloaked way to imply that Republicans do not subscribe to any form of racist politics (suppressing the black vote, for example). This is not to say that Republicans are more racist than Democrats (though they might be). This is merely a conversation ender and a refusal to acknowledge any culpability in advancing racist ideology.
