Wow. Epic and heartbreaking. I feel the pain of your grandfather and grandmother and their loss, their love, their poignant journey through life. They are both survivors in an ugly world rife with cruelty and torment. I'm certain everyone will tell you this feels like a movie but yes, this feels like a movie. I can't imagine what it must have been like for your grandfather and grandmother to reconnect in Sweden and for him to tell him to "move on." Amazing writing filled with love and empathy.
